4 day cruise visit Co to island
In the Tonkin Gulf region, Co To Island is the farthest inhabited island from the mainland. Over the past few years, Co To's rustic beauty has attracted small groups of tourists who are seeking adventure and do not care about hotels and organised tours. As an important part of Ha Long Bay, the islands of Co To feature unmatched natural beauty that is undamaged by human intervention and far from the noises and dusts of the urbanisation. Visitors to the islands can't help but become absorbed by the fantastic, unspoilt beaches. The smooth white sand of the beaches under the shining sunlight create a peaceful, romantic setting for visitors. Take a walk on the romantic beaches, bath in the blue water, go fishing and seeing coral reefs from aboard a ship. The island is also where you can hike, bike and scuba dive in the deep blue waters.

In the northeast, Co To Island is the farthest island. Its highest peak reaches a respectable 170m. There are numerous other hills, and a large lighthouse atop one of them. The coastline is mostly cliffs or large rocks, but there are many fine beaches. Fishing boats usually anchor just off here and you can walk to some of them during low tide.
In addition to their lovely shores, the islands also attract visitors with their diverse sea ecosystems that exhibit a diversity of species. Visitors tend to be particularly awed by the green and red corals lying deep in the blue water surrounding Co To. When the tide ebbs, people on board ships witness a fantastic panorama of a six-kilometre-long coral forest. The reef also supports the island's developing pearl industry.
